The "BB" Craze

more and more women from around the globe have been struck by the "BB Craze".

BB Cream is currently one of the hottest beauty products in Asia.

"BB" stands for Blemish Balm/ Beblesh Balm.

It was originally formulated in Germany and was initially used by dermatologists to help laser surgery patients protect, soothe and refine highly sensitive skin.

Although it was only used for post-laser surgeries in Germany, it's stunning results gave others a reason to include it in their beauty regimen. 

The rage began when Korean celebrities started using these amazing BB Creams.
And because Korean Dramas are so popular and influential, the popularity of BB creams spread like wildfire as well. It took not only Korea by storm but the whole Asian Nation as well. And now, the popularity of Blemish Balms is slowly creeping into the US and Europe too. 


What exactly is a BB Cream?
Well, BB Cream is an all-in-one product:

• Sun Screen
• Moisturizer
• Make Up Base
• Foundation
• Anti-aging/Anti-wrinkle
• Conceals Dark Spots, Under eye circles & Acne Marks
• Regenerates skin
•  Whitens Skin
• Evens out the skin tone

All BB Creams are different, though. Some give full coverage, while some only provide partial coverage.

There are some with thick formulas and there are those watery ones.

Some give gray hues and some give off pink hues.

And that is the beauty of it.

There are a variety of BB Creams which fit every skin type. :) 

So when you go to the store, ask the saleslady which one's best for your type of skin.


Personally, I prefer using BB Creams more than Foundation because it has a lighter formula, it has more benefits, it gives a more natural finish and it is less harmful for my skin. 
My favorite BB Cream is Arnaldo Bassini's Coenzyme Q10. :)
